Skip Rest
Terms of use
The short version: Skip Rest is free, it's a timer, and you're responsible for how you train.
Skip Rest is made by Alex Neto in Porto, Portugal. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which covers apps downloaded from the App Store.
1. Using the app
Skip Rest is free for personal use. There is no account, no subscription and no in-app purchase. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
2. Not medical advice
Skip Rest is a timer. It doesn't give medical, health or fitness advice, and it can't tell whether a workout is right for you. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise programme, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant or haven't exercised in a while. Stop exercising and get help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
3. You train at your own risk
You are responsible for choosing exercises, durations, rest and intensity that are safe for you, and for your surroundings while you train. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any injury, loss or damage that comes from using the app.
4. Your workouts
The workouts and history you create belong to you and stay on your iPhone. Because nothing is stored online, I can't recover them if they're lost, for example if you delete the app or lose your phone without a backup.
5. No warranty
The app is provided "as is". I work to keep it accurate and reliable, but I can't promise it will always be free of bugs, available or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
6. Changes to the app and these terms
I may update, change or stop offering the app at any time. If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
7. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.
